Photographs taken in 2003 of wall and ceiling murals during the $5.65 million interior renovation of the Cascade Theater in Redding, CA. The Cascade Theatre originally opened in 1935; the renovation was finished in August 2004. These photographs are of the ArtDeco murals on the ceiling and walls which were uncovered as restoration work commenced. Most of the murals had been covered by paint or cigarette smoke over the years, but careful restoration has returned them to their original beauty.
